Australian-Peranakan artist Jennifer Lim is to open her first solo show at Ludo Gallery, Singapore.

Balik Rumah - Let’s Head Home will feature new prints and paintings incorporating local motifs, languages and geographic references. Influenced by her intercultural experiences and the notion of ‘home’, Jennifer has a stunning installation of nearly 600 miniature handmade prints that spell out the title of the show.
During her solo show, Jennifer will also be hosting Artist Talks and Japanese Woodblock Demonstrations. Learn more about the journey behind Jennifer's solo debut show and see her demonstrate the art of Japanese woodblock printing. A 400-year-old craft, Japanese 'mokuhanga' is a unique printmaking method known best in 'ukiyoe' prints. Jennifer combines this ancient technique with screenprint, linocut and painting to form a visual exploration of history and heritage.
